The same group of former congressional staffers — Ezra Levin, Angel Padilla, and Jeremy Haile — that published a crucial guide to the resistance against the Trump administration has created a map, searchable by zip code, of “Groups Taking Indivisible Action.”
According to the site, it is for any group that “agrees with these three principles:”
Resist Trump’s agenda. We believe Trump’s agenda is racist, authoritarian, and corrupt, and it must be stopped.
Focus on local, defensive congressional advocacy. We demand that our own local Members of Congress serve as our voice in Washington, DC.
Embrace progressive values. We model inclusion, respect, and fairness in all of our actions.
The former staffers wrote that their guide is meant for “stiffening Democratic spines and weakening pro-Trump Republican resolve” — a need which grows more urgent every day.
Thankfully, their call to action is working. And the resistance is growing.
