Experts say Republican rhetoric has fueled thousands of racist incidents against Asian Americans since the start of the pandemic.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) referred to Asian Americans as ‘yellow people’ at a recent event.

Republican Glenn Youngkin will face former Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe in the Virginia governor’s race in November.

‘We’re not bringing you the virus,’ said Dr. Michele Lee. ‘We are literally trying to help you get rid of the virus.’

Republican lawmakers lashed out this week after Sens. Tammy Duckworth and Mazie Hirono refused to confirm anymore non-diverse nominees until President Joe Biden pledged to add more AAPI appointees to his roster.

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) said people shouldn’t jump to conclusions and suggested the shooter had  ‘underlying mental illness.’

‘It’s important that he knows there are still good people. That’s simply it,’ said one donor.

‘He’s absolutely taking no responsibility and putting all of that on the workers themselves and it also distracts from the race issue,’ one organizer said.

But it doesn’t think Rep. Chip Roy should resign over it.

Republican Rep. Tom McClintock really wants people to think that structural racism doesn’t exist.

‘The way we get through this is together by organizing our people and feeling solidarity.’
