More doctors are considering leaving or retiring early, while fewer medical students are applying to obstetrics and gynecology residencies in Texas.

More than 17% of respondents to a recent survey said they would refuse a fellowship or a job in states with abortion restrictions.

'Fewer people are applying to med schools in restricted states,' says Becca, a fourth-year medical student.
