Trump won the election. But the fact that Hillary is on track to win the popular vote carries much more than just symbolic significance. It is a beacon for those who are outraged that Trump’s transgressions were acceptable to so many fellow citizens.
In the days and years to come, there will be an ongoing fight for the soul of America. Those at the forefront will know that tens of millions stand with them.
