Watch second Democratic debate in Detroit to see who will take on Trump in 2020
Ten Democrats take the stage in Detroit to discuss their plans to create a better America.
The race to oust Trump from the White House continues Tuesday night, when 10 Democrats meet for the first night of the second debate.
Of the 20 candidates who met the criteria set by the DNC, 10 candidates were chosen at random to debate Tuesday, and 10 additional candidates will take the debate stage Wednesday night.
The following candidates will appear on stage on Tuesday: Montana Gov. Steve Bullock, South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, former Maryland Rep. John Delaney, former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke, Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan, Vermont independent Sen. Bernie Sanders, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and self-help author Marianne Williamson.
Tuesday’s debate, hosted by CNN, will take place in Detroit and begin at 8 p.m. ET. The debate is expected to last two hours.
