Interrogate Trump: Donald Trump once again invokes Hillary Clinton's assassination
https://twitter.com/anamariecox/status/776913384625344513 In August, Trump said at a rally: “Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish, the Second Amendment. In August, Trump said at a rally: “Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish, the Second Amendment. By the way, and if she gets to pick— [boos from audience] If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although, the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.”
That led to a surge of outrage that subsided quickly, as the corporate media resumed their favorite pastime of obsessing over Hillary Clinton’s emails.
Tonight, Trump did it again:
Trump on Clinton's bodyguards: "Take their guns away. She doesn't want guns… let's see what happens to her." https://t.co/NBBP1pji5j

She’s very much against the Second Amendment. She wants to destroy your Second Amendment. Guns, guns, guns, right? I think what we should do is— She goes around with armed bodyguards like you have never seen before. I think that her bodyguards should drop all weapons. They should disarm. Right, right? I think they should disarm immediately. What do you think? Yes? Yeah. Take their guns away! She doesn’t want guns. Let’s see what happens to her. Take their guns away, okay? It would be very dangerous.
This is utterly, and completely unacceptable by any standard of decency. And any other person who made such an invitational threat to a presidential candidate—no less for the second time—would be in Secret Service custody right now.
Someone who wasn’t broadcasting the message to millions of people by virtue of the platform Trump is given would be facing potential criminal consequences.
This is intolerable. And the media and law enforcement must treat it with the gravity it warrants.
