Sen. Tim Kaine easily beats neo-Confederate Trump endorsed in Virginia
Democrat Tim Kaine sent Trump-endorsed racist Corey Stewart packing early on election night.
Virginia voters rejected Trump’s racism handily on Tuesday night by re-electing Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine, and sending unapologetically racist, Confederate flag-loving Republican Senate nominee Corey Stewart down to resounding defeat.
Trump endorsed Stewart in June following his primary victory, but voters had their say, and delivered Kaine the win in a race that was called just minutes after polls closed in Virginia.
Kaine will remain in the Senate, and Stewart can take his place on the ash heap of history, where he can keep a seat warm for Trump.
UPDATE: Meanwhile, loser Corey Stewart’s election party is looking … about as sad as Stewart’s whole pitiful campaign.
