Trump explodes in racist rant after US soccer star says she won't visit the White House
Trump can’t handle being rejected for his racism, so he exploded with racism again.
Trump lashed out at USA soccer star Megan Rapinoe Wednesday morning, which quickly devolved into a racist rant about the NBA.
Team USA is currently competing in the World Cup tournament.
“I’m not going to the fucking White House,” Rapinoe told reporters in a video posted online Tuesday.
Q: “Are you excited about going to the White House?”

That set Trump off on a Wednesday morning Twitter meltdown.
“I am a big fan of the American Team, and Women’s Soccer, but Megan should WIN first before she TALKS!” Trump ranted, in response to her statement.
Rapinoe has been kneeling and not singing during the national anthem to protest police brutality against minorities. Trump criticized her for this as well.
“Megan should never disrespect our Country, the White House, or our Flag, especially since so much has been done for her & the team. Be proud of the Flag that you wear,” he wrote.
Trump has repeatedly attacked and mischaracterized protests during the national anthem over racial injustice.
“When I take a knee, I am facing the flag with my full body, staring straight into the heart of our country’s ultimate symbol of freedom — because I believe it is my responsibility, just as it is yours, to ensure that freedom is afforded to everyone in this country,” Rapinoe wrote in 2016.
“I have chosen to kneel because I simply cannot stand for the kind of oppression this country is allowing against its own people,” Rapinoe said.
Trump also showed off his racism in the anti-Rapinoe tweets by complaining about NBA teams, like the Golden State Warriors, that have boycotted visiting the White House in protest of his bigotry.
The NBA “now refuses to call owners, owners (please explain that I just got Criminal Justice Reform passed, Black unemployment is at the lowest level in our Country’s history, and the poverty index is also best number EVER),” Trump incoherently wrote.
The NBA has for years been transitioning away from using the label of “owner” out of racial sensitivity.
“The change was made due to concerns that the term ‘owner’ can be viewed as racially insensitive in a league where the vast majority of players are African-American and the majority of owners are Caucasian,” CBS Sports noted on Monday.
Trump got everything wrong in his rant. He even had to re-post his complaints because he tagged the wrong account in his initial posting.
The owner of that account, whose name is Megan Rapino, without an “e,” expressed solidarity with the soccer star against Trump.
“She was right to say so cry me a river,” Rapino wrote.
Trump stands up for racists and racism, lashing out at America’s most elite athletes as they take a stand against racial injustice. Not only is he on the wrong side of history, but he can’t even do it competently.
